Dolphin-Squad #2 - Tuesday, June 24th

WEATHER

It is going to be HOT! One of the glories of Peace Haven is our afternoon shade but we still want everyone to take measures to keep themselves hydrated and cool. We plan to take a break midway to allow volunteers and spectators to cool off. Wear your swimsuit!

TIMELINE

• 6:00 PM The pool closes and we all arrive and setup - volunteers please check in!
• 6:15 PM Warm Up + Timer, Stroke & Turn and Runner Meeting
• 6:30 PM Meet start

DOLPHIN POD

Even though it is an intrasquad meet we still need 10&U swimmers to stay with their designated age group and adult leader so that they do not miss an event.

EVENTS

We are adding a 19&O category for all 4 competitive strokes which will happen after each 15-18 race. We have had a few indicated interest but anyone is welcome to join the fun. Just be ready when the event is called.

We also have 20 family relays set up already! Please let us know if you want to create a team and we will add it to the heat sheet. Even if yo If you see a relay with say 2 kids only, that means that 2 parents (or older siblings) plan to join.

There will be a COACHES RELAY and we will finish up with a MYSTERY RELAY for EVERYONE! The heat sheet will be sent out by 12:00 PM Tuesday. Mark your swimmers before you arrive.

FOOD 

We will not be serving burgers but the Snack Shack will be open. At the end of the meet we will have a PIZZA PARTY. It is $5 per person, $20 family max. Jill Johnson will collect payment through cash and Venmo on deck or you can PREORDER: @ccjjohnson

CLEAN UP 

At the conclusion of the last event cookies will be handed out and we will ask Dolphins and their parents to help clean up. Moving chairs, picking up trash, etc. The Pizza Party will not start until the deck is put back in order.
