We are over half-way through our season with 5 weeks of practice behind us and only 3 weeks left! The season goes fast and we have a LOT of important things coming up next week AND beyond. Please read this email thoroughly.

PRACTICE FRIDAY 6/19

Even though we will have many swimmers participating in the City Meet we will still hold practice as usual on Friday morning.

PEP RALLY MONDAY 6/22

Join your fellow swimmers for some pre-home meet fun! Swimmers will have the opportunity to decorate a picture frame to display their favorite swim team photo. We’ll provide a 4x6 frame, stickers, and markers for decorating.

Supplies will be available from 6:15–7:15 PM, and we’ll gather for a team cheer at 6:45 PM between practices.

Morning swimmers: You’re welcome to come just for the social event and team cheer.

Afternoon swimmers: Come at your regular practice time and decorate your frame before or after practice.

MEET @ HOME vs SHERWOOD TUESDAY 6/23 - THEME: Sports Jersey

Volunteers: We have a few spots that we still need help with please consider signing up HERE.

PIZZA: All pizza orders must be placed and paid for before the meet using the link HERE. We will only be ordering whole pizzas. If your family doesn’t need an entire pizza, feel free to team up with another family and share. Pizza will be from Papa John’s, and gluten-free options are available!

All orders must be submitted by Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 PM, and payment must be sent via Venmo to @CCJJOHNSON (last four digits: 4690).

MEET AWAY @ CLEMMONS WEST THURSDAY 6/25

Declare your swimmer IN or OUT for both meets TODAY! It will help our coaches tremendously if they know whether your child is available to swim as we go into the weekend You can go ahead and do this for every meet

FINALS

GFSL Finals are on Sunday, July 12th at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. While this can be logistically challenging considering that the meet consists of 2 sessions, we want to encourage ALL Dolphins families to be available to participate. It is a GREAT experience swimming with all teams in our league at a world-class facility.

Every team is allowed 3 swimmers in each individual event and two relays per event. Even if you don’t think your child “will qualify” for Finals, we ask that you PLEASE make your swimmer available to swim. We need many swimmers to fill out our relays and have alternate spots. More information about Finals will be coming soon.

END OF SEASON PARTY

Save the Date for July 13th 6:00-9:00 PM. Dinner, dessert, awards and swimming at the pool! We will keep the pool open an extra hour for the swim team only! The RSVP and job sign up is now open!
