Peace Haven vs Sherwood @ HOME - Tuesday, June 23rd

MEET THEME: SPORTS JERSEY! Show your team spirit! Come dressed up in support of your favorite WORLD CUP or other sports team. A prize will be given to the best dressed Dolphin!

VOLUNTEERS - We are still in need of these 2nd half volunteers: 9-10 boys clerk of course, runner backup timer. When you arrive, check-in at our volunteer table.

• 4:00 PM Dolphin/Pod volunteers, Lead Set-up and coaches arrive and start setting up!

*** CITY MEET TEAM - please come and take a picture with our trophy before we put it up in the Guard Room for the meet.

• 4:15 PM All Dolphins arrive - swimmers need to be ready to go when warm ups start!!!
• 4:30 PM Sherwood arrives
• 4:45-5:05 PM Dolphins Warm Up
• 5:05-5:25 PM Sharks Warm Up
• 5:15 PM Timer, Stroke & Turn and Runner Meeting

IMPORTANT - Second half volunteers should come to this meeting. If you cannot make it you must check-in with Stacy Bachmann (Referee) before the second half.

HEAT SHEET - The Heat Sheet and Meet Entries will be sent out on Tuesday at noon. Please mark your kids before you arrive.

WEATHER - In the unfortunate event of lightning, EVERYONE must evacuate the pool AND pool deck. We can be under the shelter if there is room but may have to go to our cars until we get an all-clear from our guards. If we get through event #42 we can conclude the meet otherwise we will have to come back to finish - likely on Wednesday.

PARKING - This will be our biggest meet of the year. Please limit the number of cars you bring and park on the POOL SIDE only of Hearthside Drive.

DECK - Please leave the spectator seating on the shallow end half (including 2 rows of round tables and the picnic tables alongside the Baby Pool) open Sherwood. Please bring extra chairs. No one is allowed on the steps in the shallow end or to have legs in the pool anywhere on deck during the meet. The Baby Pool will be closed.

* Let’s encourage good sportsmanship! Remind your Dolphin to stay in the water and shake hands with the other team at the end of the race. Let’s cheer for EVERYONE and never put others down - including our competitors.

PLAYGROUND - The playground is open for use during the meet but is unsupervised. Parents are advised to monitor as necessary. The baby pool is not open for swimming.

CONCESSIONS - Hamburgers, chips, drinks, candy and snacks are available at the Snack Shack during the meet. PH members may charge their accounts or pay with cash or Venmo. Sunset Slush will be set up on the grass outside the entrance and prefers cash but accepts cash app, card, Venmo and Apple Pay.

CLEAN UP - Many hands make light work! At the conclusion of the last event we will ask Dolphins and their parents to help clean up. Moving chairs, picking up trash, etc. The Pizza Party will not start until the deck is put back in order. THANK YOU!
